Art of the Cowgirl is not something you attend for an afternoon. It is something you step into, a full immersion.
With a single 5-Day Pass, guests are invited into five full days of competition, craftsmanship, learning, music, community, and Western tradition unfolding across multiple arenas, stages, and gathering spaces. From sunup to sundown, Art of the Cowgirl offers an experience where there is always something happening, something to watch, something to learn, and someone worth meeting.
Central to the week are world-class competitions, including the preliminaries and finals of the World’s Greatest Cowgirl and Ranch Rodeo, along with breakaway and team roping, and, new this year, a colt starting competition. Guests can spend their mornings watching elite horsewomen compete, their afternoons walking through sale horses and shopping with dozens of Western vendors. Their evenings are spent listening to music, gathering for after-parties, or bidding in the silent auction.
Throughout the week, attendees have access to a full schedule of free demonstrations, presentations, performances, and panel discussions led by artists, makers, horsewomen, and industry leaders. Fellowship Masters and recipients from 2025 and 2026 are on site, offering rare opportunities for conversation, mentorship, and insight into traditional trades passed down through hands-on learning.
Art of the Cowgirl is also deeply interactive. Guests can watch the Quick Draw competition, take part in hands-on Maker Experiences like watercolor painting and leatherwork. Artists are not tucked away behind velvet ropes. They are present, approachable, and working in real time.
Families are woven into the experience as well, with Cowkid Corral activities, dummy roping, youth art projects, and Family Day programming designed to welcome the next generation into Western culture.
The grounds are alive with music, food trucks, warm Arizona sunshine, and gathering spaces meant for conversation and connection. Industry professionals, makers, ranchers, riders, and Western creatives from across the country come together here, creating a rare opportunity to network, collaborate, and build relationships that extend far beyond the event itself.
