2025 Art of the Cowgirl Invitational Horse Sale Quick Links

An Elite Horse Sale
The Art of the Cowgirl Invitational Horse Sale has developed core relationships that take this unique sale to heightened levels year after year. With every sale we grow a stronger foundation of women consignors who we trust to bring the kind of horses we are proud to represent. The 2025 Art of the Cowgirl Invitational Horse Sale will take place during Art of the Cowgirl at Rancho Rio in Wickenburg, Arizona, February 25-March 1.
2026 Nominations will open August 1, 2025, by invitation only.
Sale Structure
The Art of the Cowgirl Invitational Horse Sale is separated into three sections: Elite Horses, Select Prospects and Cowkid Selects.

Elite Horses
Limited to approximately 40 Elite Horses annually. ( FIVE YEAR OLDS & UP)
With a diverse group of potential buyers in mind, we strive to put together a set of horses that would truly fit everyone, from the recreational rider, the weekend warrior, to the highest levels of professional horsemen and women. These horses embody what we consider Elite. They have excelled on working ranches, have earnings in multiple associations, and most importantly, each horse would fit a rider searching for a partner to enjoy safely.

Select Prospects

Cowkids Selects
There is nothing better than going to a branding and watching cowkids chasing each other around on ponies and old broke ranch horses, learning what it takes to make a hand and to make a good horse, but most of all just being kids. Kid horses don’t get broke for kids, they get broke because of kids. We wanted to give our buyers the opportunity to not only own a horse made by a ranch kid, but to get to know these kids and just how impressive they are. This is the future of our industry, and it is in good hands. *Cowkids must be 15 & Under as of Sale Day.
