Millie is the epitome of her name – All Oak Heart. She is strong, sturdy and business-like with a huge heart that gives 200 percent in all she does! Millie has a versatile background that includes ranching, boxing, roping and speed events. She’s super fun on a cow. And she’s broke and fancy enough to take to Ranch Versatility shows, where she would no doubt clean house in the halter class with her strong, shapey make and keen eye, head and neck. On the ranch, she will go and cross where you point her, has a sweepy, ground covering trot, is super fun to sort on, will work a rope to doctor and drag a calf to the fire. She’s roped both ends plenty out of the box in the arena, and is a finished 1D-3D barrel horse, depending on the venue and crowd. She clocks 22-23 seconds on the poles with less than 3 competition runs, only due to having limited opportunities to enter poles. I have no doubt she would get faster with consistent entering and that Poles would be her “jam!” Millie is feely with a four wheel drive motor, and would work best for the older, experienced youth that needs one versatile horse for the ranch, show pen and speed events. Or, perfect for a busy mom that needs one good, seasoned horse to go have fun on. We’ve really enjoyed owning Millie the past 6 years and she will go down as one of the more special ones we’ve had the pleasure of riding!
