Art of the Cowgirl offers unique internship opportunities for college-aged women who are passionate about the Western industry, event production, and storytelling. Our internships provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while supporting our mission to celebrate, connect, and empower women in traditional Western arts and horsemanship.

Multiple Categories for Targeted Immersion
Our internship program offers unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience in three exciting categories:
Our internships are primarily remote from November 15, 2025, through March 15, 2026, with on-site participation required February 22, 2026 – March 1, 2026 (in Wickenburg, Arizona), for event setup, execution, and teardown.
Candidates may apply for up to two categories, but only one internship is awarded per applicant. Candidates may only participate as an Art of the Cowgirl intern one time.

This internship is ideal for individuals interested in large-scale event production and operations. Interns will play a key role in the behind-the-scenes work that brings Art of the Cowgirl to life, assisting with logistics, guest services, and the overall event experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with set-up, tear-down, and day-to-day operations during the event
- Support staff in coordinating vendor and exhibitor logistics
- Provide on-site guest services and hospitality for attendees, clinicians, and sponsors
- Help manage schedules, credentials, and flow of participants
- Serve as a liaison between event staff, volunteers, and participants
- Assist with workshops, demonstrations, and educational programming logistics
- Ensure a professional, welcoming environment that reflects the mission of Art of the Cowgirl
This internship is geared toward creative individuals with an interest in storytelling, photography, social media, and digital marketing. Interns will work closely with our marketing team to capture the spirit of Art of the Cowgirl and share it with our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with event photography and videography, including candid and action shots
- Draft social media posts, recaps, and real-time content during the event
- Support media partnerships and help manage press access
- Organize, tag, and archive photo/video assets for long-term use
- Provide on-site coverage of competitions, workshops, and vendor showcases
- Contribute to email campaigns, blog content, and post-event reporting
- Uphold brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
This internship is tailored for individuals passionate about horsemanship, competitions, and the Western performance horse industry. Interns will gain behind-the-scenes insight into producing elite competitions and an invitational horse sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with check-in and management of sale horses and competitors
- Support the production team during the World’s Greatest Cowgirl and other competitions
- Support judges & secretaries as needed
- Coordinate sale-day logistics, including consignor and buyer communication
- Ensure all competitions and sale activities run smoothly and professionally
