It is with honor, appreciation and excitement we announce the 2020 Art of the Cowgirl World’s Greatest Horsewoman Presented by Western Horseman!

This Elite Reined Cow Horse Event is the style of the NRCHA World’s Greatest Horseman.  Each competitor will compete in four preliminary events including Reining, Herd work, Steer Stopping and Fence Work.

The prelims will be held at the South Buckeye Equestrian and Event Center in Buckeye, Arizona.

We will pay homage to the working cowgirl during the finals, where the Top 10 Finalists will compete for the title of World’s Greatest Horsewoman.

Entry Information

 

General Information

Fees | $250 fees, 80% payback

Entries | Entries are first come first serve. Entries will open October 15th at 12 P.M. central time.

Finals | Finals will be Clean Slate

Prizes | Winner will receive a spot in the 2020 NRCHA World’s Greatest Horseman. If the winner has a Non-Pro status with the NRCHA, Art of the Cowgirl will reimburse the World’s Greatest Horseman entry fee as to not effect their Non-pro status.

Rules
  • Must be a woman to enter
  • Horse must be shown in NRCHA legal bridle bit
  • Horse must be shown in the same bit in all four events and finals
  • Horse must be shown one handed (refer to NRCHA rule book)
  • Rider must be an NRCHA Member to compete (can sign up at the event)
  • This is not an NRCHA sanctioned event.  This does not count towards any NRCHA standings.  The NRCHA is being very gracious to hold us a spot for the World’s Greatest Horseman so having your NRCHA membership will help to expedite the process for the winner’s Fort Worth entry.
