Carrie Hirshberg has been competing in Cowboy Mounted Shooting for 10 years where she has set world records and won national titles! Prior to mounted shooting she competed in western pleasure, barrel racing and high-level show jumping. She brings her knowledge from different disciplines to the sport focusing on the horsemanship aspect of making performances better. Carrie and her husband, Trevor, established Hirshberg Performance in Tonopah, Arizona where Carrie shapes horses and riders into the athletes and competitors they aspire to be. She believes in the basics and putting a strong foundation on the horse or rider so that they never plateau once doing the sport. Carrie enjoys hosting clinics improving the horse and riders’ relationship for a better performance. Her philosophy is improve the rider, improve the horse, improve the performance!
