Thank you for your interest in The Art of the Cowgirl Invitational Horse Sale. Please review the Sale Terms & Conditions before nominating your horse. Completion of consignment DOES NOT guarantee selection. Sale staff reserves the right to reject any consignments if they do not meet sale standards or are deemed unsafe for potential buyers.

* Selections will be made no later than November 15, 2024
* Selected horses/consignors will be notified via email
- Late submissions WILL NOT be accepted.
- Incomplete submissions WILL NOT be accepted.
- Poor- or low-quality images and videos WILL NOT be accepted.
Nomination Fee & Commission
Nomination fee is due at the time of submission. Art of the Cowgirl Invitational Horse Sale (Elite Horses & Select Prospects) nomination fee is $1,000 per head with 9% commission. The Cowkid Selects nomination fee is $600 per head with $6% commission. Full refunds will be made to horses which are not selected.
OPTIONAL Full-Page Ad
If you would like your horse to be featured on a full page in the official sale catalog, be sure to select this option in the nomination form. Cost is $500 and due at the time of nomination. Additional photos and information may be requested. If your horse is not selected this will be refunded along with your nomination fee. Note: all full-page ads will be designed by our in-house designer.
Video Requirements
All videos must be uploaded to Vimeo (preffered) or YouTube ONLY and submitted via the corresponding URL link. No RAW video files will be accepted at any point. You may provide one (1) link in the nomination form. Additional video deadlines for consignments will be outlined upon selection.
* Videos are REQUIRED for nomination if you are a first-time consignor.
MANDATORY Ownership
- Horse papers MUST be in the consignor’s name by sale day, with the exception of Cowkid Selects.
- No double transfers allowed. Original papers along with a signed transfer will be due at check-in.
* If selling as an agent this must be approved by sale staff at time of nomination.
* If horse is not registered this must be approved by sale staff at time of nomination.
Horse Requirements
- Open to all breeds between the age of 3 and 12 years old* (as of January 1, 2025)
* Elite Horses should be 5-year-olds and up at the time of sale.
* Select Prospects should be 3- and 4-year-olds at the time of sale.
- Open to all sexes
- Must have current (within 6 months) coggins and current health to unload on-site
- Horse should be able to pass a full vet check, or otherwise noted in the catalog. All horses will be guaranteed within 72 hours from the end of the sale. The seller is responsible for any and all guarantees. Except as otherwise announced by the auctioneer, the consignor warrants the following: 1) Title of the horse is free and clear; 2) The animal is sound of eyes, wind and limb; 3) The animal is not a cribber, windsucker, stall weaver or parrot mouthed; 4) The animal has not been nerved or have navicular disease or is foundered; 5) The sex or condition as a gelding or ridgeling is as described in the sale catalog or announced at time of sale. If any of these conditions are announced, the consignor is held harmless for the condition. PLEASE REFER TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL GUARANTEE & DISPUTE INFORMATION
Radiographs:
Horses are encouraged to have a full set of radiographs. Additional information will be sent to all selected consignors.
Buy Backs & No-Sales:
Consignors will receive a buyers number upon check in and have the right to protect their horses. SALE STAFF WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BUYING HORSES BACK.
Vet Release:
Horses will require a vet release to be scratched from the sale at any point. No shows will be fined $600.
Photo Requirements:
All horses MUST have PROFESSIONAL photos at the time of nomination. HIGH RESOLUTION images MUST be submitted via the online form. Photos should be at least 1 MB minimum and under 5 MB maximum in size. Pictures are subject to selection. If images are of low-quality horse will not be considered.
ADDITIONAL CATALOG PHOTO GUIDELINES:
- Photos should professional, high-quality, high-resolution images
- Photos must have no foreign objects in the background
- Horses should be well-groomed with no tail bags
- If saddled in photos, tack should be clean
- Avoid cropping too tightly around your horse, sale staff will crop as needed
