Lot 20 | Tomahawk

Consignor Bio
Weston Sumpter is an adventurous 11-year-old boy with a heart as vast as the open plains of Southeast Colorado. Growing up on the ranch, Weston has been surrounded by cattle and horses his whole life. His father Wade is a six-time National Finals Rodeo Qualifier in steer wrestling and his mother Linsay Rosser Sumpter is the commissioner of the Women’s Rodeo Championships, and has instilled in him a deep love for hard work, and determination. From an early age, Weston has been immersed in the world of the Western lifestyle, while learning horsemanship and roping from his parents. He spends most of his time on horseback helping with chores around the ranch. With a passion for animals, he often lends a hand in caring for the cattle and training the ranch horses. Still, he enjoys playing sports and participating in youth rodeo competitions. Weston embodies the cowboy spirit—courageous, kind, and proud of the work he has put into his pony Tomahawk.
